CRISIL declines on reporting 4% drop in Q1 consolidated net profit

CRISIL is currently trading at Rs 1920.00, down by 67.40 points or 3.39% from its previous closing of Rs 1987.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1950.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1950.00 and Rs. 1910.00 respectively. So far 34395 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2100.00 on 08-Jul-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 975.15 on 05-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1999.90 and Rs. 1750.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13731.15 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.41 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.23 % and 14.36 % respectively.

CRISIL has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2014.

The company has reported 11.16% fall in its net profit at Rs 46.93 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 52.83 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 5.88% at Rs 226.67 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 214.07 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013.

On consolidated basis, the company has posted a decline of 4.44% in its net profit after taxes and minority interest at Rs 57.83 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2014 as compared to Rs 60.52 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 8.90% at Rs 308.19 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 283 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013.
