BS gains on bagging EPC order worth Rs 69 crore

BS is currently trading at Rs. 38.05, up by 1.30 points or 3.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 36.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 37.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 38.10 and Rs. 37.40 respectively. So far 31,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 41.80 on 04-Jul-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 10.45 on 11-Dec-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 38.10 and Rs. 34.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,673.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.09% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.75% and 28.16% respectively.

BS, an EPC services provider in the power transmission and distribution sector, has bagged an EPC contract for construction of 220 KV transmission lines in Andhra Pradesh valued at Rs 69 crore. The timeframe for completion of this contract is 12 months.

Besides, the company is currently executing total orders worth Rs 130 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for setting up transmission lines and associated substations.
