Delta Corp gains as its luxury resort ‘The Deltin’ receives five star accreditation

Delta Corp is currently trading at Rs. 96.90, up by 0.15 points or 0.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 96.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 97.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 99.20 and Rs. 96.30 respectively. So far 622723 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 127.70 on 07-Jan-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 44.10 on 25-Jul-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 99.20 and Rs. 87.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2253.80 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 41.58% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.00% and 44.42% respectively.

Delta Corp’s luxury resort ‘The Deltin’ at Daman has obtained Five Star accreditation issued by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Earlier, this year, the company had launched the said property which is spread over 10 acres with 176 rooms, four gourmet restaurants, three bars, 8,000 sq feet of high-end retail space and a luxury spa.

Delta Corp is the largest gaming company in India and the only listed company in this space. The company is an early entrant in this space and has attained a leadership position in a short span of time.
