Bank of Baroda reports 17% rise in Q1 net profit

Bank of Baroda (BoB) has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2014.

The bank has registered a rise of 16.61% in its net profit at Rs 1361.88 crore as compared to Rs 1167.87 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. The bank's total income has increased by 9% to Rs 11682.50 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 10717.49 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The bank’s gross NPA for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal stood at 3.11%, as compared to 2.99% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, bank’s Net NPA stood at 1.58% in Q1FY15.
