Larsen & Toubro’s Q1 consolidated net profit doubles at Rs 967 crore

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2014.

The company’s net profit has surged 34.51% at Rs 893.55 crore as compared to Rs 664.31 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. Its total income has increased by 4.99% to Rs 10825.65 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 10311.05 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company’s net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates doubled at Rs 966.89 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 458.59 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 9.98% at Rs 19251.79 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 17504.67 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013.
