Torrent Power has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2014.
The company has reported a net profit of Rs 80.28 crore as compared to a net loss of Rs 10.10 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. Its total income has increased by 16.31% to Rs 2593.86 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 2230.16 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net profit after taxes & Minority Interest of Rs 86.24 crore for the quarter as compared to a net loss of Rs 7.39 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 16.34% at Rs 2628.95 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2259.79 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013.
