Sundram Fasteners operations of its units located at Korkadu village, Puducherry and Mittarnandagapet village, Villupurain district in Tamil Nadu, have been disrupted due to damages caused by the recent cyclone ‘Thane’.
However, all the assets situated at the above units are adequately insured. Further, the company expects to restore normal operations in stages over a period of two weeks.
Sundram Fasteners product range consists of high-tensile fasteners, powder metal components, cold extruded parts, hot forged components, radiator caps, automotive pumps, gear shifters, gears and couplings, hubs and shafts, tappets and iron powder.
