Escorts agri machinery segment (EAM), a subsidiary of Escorts, sold 4,317 tractors in July 2014, against 4,466 tractors sold in July 2013.
Domestic tractor sales in July 2014 stood at 4,126 as against 4,380 tractors in July 2013. The export for the month of July 2014 surged to 191 tractors as that of 86 tractors in July 2013.
Escorts offer a comprehensive range of tractors with more than 45 variants starting from 25 to 80 HP. The company also manufactures and markets a diverse range of equipments like cranes, loaders, vibratory rollers and forklifts.
