The total two wheeler sales increased by 32% from 1,46,671 units recorded in July 2013 to 1,94,128 units for the month under review. Domestic two wheeler sales registered a growth of 30%, increasing to 1,64,571 units for the month under review from 1,26,531 units in the corresponding month previous year.
Scooters sales grew by 64% at 60,619 units in July, 2014 from 36,900 units in July, 2013. Motorcycles sales grew by 33% at 76,767 units in July as compared to 57,886 on Y-o-Y basis. Further, three wheeler sales of the company registered a growth of 28% at 8,964 units in July as compared to 7,005 units in the same month previous fiscal.
