Indraprastha Gas has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2014.
The company’s net profit has surged by 30.20% at Rs 114.03 crore as compared to Rs 87.58 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. However, the company’s total income has decreased by 3.09% to Rs 876.50 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 904.47 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Indraprastha Gas, incorporated in 1998, is engaged in distribution of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) in Delhi. In 1999 the company took over Delhi City Gas Distribution Project from GAIL (India). IGL laid the network for the distribution of natural gas in the National Capital of Delhi to consumers in the domestic, transport, and commercial sectors.
