NHPC has taken up commissioning issues of Subansari, Parbati plants with the power minister and is hopeful of commissioning the first unit of Parbati II by December, 2015.
The total generation capacity for the company stood at 4987 Mega Watts (MW). The first quarter saw a 17% increase in generation units on a Year-on-Year basis. The overall generation was aided by higher water levels.
