Triveni Engineering & Industries has decided to suspend its crushing operations for the Sugar Season 2014-15. The company, while apprising operational and financial difficulties being faced by the Sugar Industry in the State of Uttar Pradesh due to unrealistic cane price, has represented to the Cane Commissioner, Govt. of U.P. and other concerned authorities expressing its inability to commence operations of all its sugar units for the sugar season 2014-15, unless a viable and long term mechanism or formula for determining the sugarcane price is arrived.
Triveni Engineering & Industries, incorporated in 1937, is engaged in the business of manufacturing sugar, steam turbines and projects and engineering activities.
