Credit rating agency, CARE has assigned ‘BBB-’ rating to Rasoi’s Long-term bank facilities worth Rs 1 crore and ‘A3’ rating to the company’s Short-term bank facilities worth Rs 6 crore. The rating agency has also assigned ‘BBB-/ A3’ rating to the company’s Long-term/Short-term Bank Facilities worth Rs 11.75 crore.
The ratings draw strength from the experience of the promoters of Rasoi, comfortable capital structure, comfortable liquidity position with presence of substantial amount of liquid investments vis-a-vis debt level, no capital expenditure planned in the medium term and favourable working capital cycle.
Rasoi processes and sells vanaspati & refined oils (including Palm, Soya bean, Rice bran and Mustard oils) under the brand ‘Rasoi’. The firm was converted into a company and the name was changed to its present name in 1982. The manufacturing facility of the company is located at Falta in West Bengal and has installed capacity of 42,000 MT of vanaspati and 30,000 MT of refined oil.
