Tata Power gains as its arm wins one of the largest DCR orders of JNNSM phase-2 batch-1

Tata Power is currently trading at Rs. 94.35, up by 1.05 points or 1.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 93.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 93.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 94.50 and Rs. 93.50 respectively. So far 32182 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 115.25 on 09-Jun-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 67.36 on 06-Sep-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 95.30 and Rs. 91.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 25234.15 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.04% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 51.55% and 15.24% respectively.

Tata Power Solar (TPS), a 100% subsidiary of Tata Power, has won one of the largest DCR orders of JNNSM phase-2 batch-1. The company will supply the entire module requirement for the 20 MW (AC) project to be built by ACME Solar, a leading solar power developer in India. The 1,00,000 modules, constituting 60,00,000 cells, needed for the project will be manufactured at TPS’ state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bangalore.
