KNR Constructions, a Hyderabad-based infrastructure development company has seen HDFC Mutual Fund increasing its stake in the company to 7.61 percent from the 5.38 percent. The number of shares has increased to 21,40,077 equity shares, from the previous 15,12,394 equity shares as on February 28, 2008.
Recently, KNR Constructions had been awarded an order worth Rs 145.89 crore by Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation. The order bagged was for the development of the Pichhore - Chanderi - Mungawali - Onder - Kurwai Road in the State of Madhya Pradesh (MP), which needs to be completed within a period of 24 Months from the appointed date.
