Technofab Engineering suspends work in Liberia due to Ebola outbreak

Technofab Engineering has suspended construction work of a new oil jetty in Monrovia, Liberia (West Africa) for the Ministry of Public Works, Liberia, following the medical emergency declared due to outbreak of Ebola virus there. The project is funded by the World Bank.

The Ministry’s French consultant had declared force majeure and moved out of the project site. The consultant had also said no construction activity requiring certification and approval can be carried out by Technofab Engineering till the situation returns to normalcy and the firm (consultant) is able to be physically present at the project site.

The work of larger groups such as Arcelor, Sterlite and others had also been impacted there.

Technofab Engineering was incorporated in the year on July 20, 1971 in New Delhi. It is an ISO 9001:2000 accredited company for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of engineered systems on complete turnkey basis in core, energy and infrastructure sector projects.
