Apollo Hospitals to add 3 more hospitals in FY15

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise is planning to add 3 more hospitals in FY15 with a total bed capacity of 500 beds in the country at an investment of Rs 400 crore in the current financial year. The new hospitals will be in Visakhapatnam, Nellore and Indore. The company will raise the fund for the expansion through internal accruals and debt funding.

The company has already opened two reach hospitals, one in Nashik and the other in Trichy. Moreover, the company will open 14 more cradles in next 24 months. Apollo cradle focuses on gynaecology, fertility, maternity and antenatal care.

The healthcare major currently has over 10,000 beds across 51 hospitals, more than 1500 pharmacies, over 100 primary care & diagnostic clinics, 115 telemedicine units across nine countries.
