Jaiprakash Associates’ promoter entity Jaypee Infra Ventures has offloaded 1.3 crore shares in the company for Rs 62.40 crore through open market sale route. As on June 30, 2014, the promoters' holding in the company stood at 45.07% while institutions and non-institutions held 38.87% and 16.06% stake in the company, respectively.
Jaypee Group is the country’s third largest cement maker. Swiss major Holcim owns majority stake in both ACC and Ambuja Cement with a combined capacity of around 52 mtpa in India.
