Sakthi Sugars to monetise non-core assets

Sakthi Sugars has decided to monetise certain non-earning and non-core assets, which are not connected with the operations of the company. Moreover, the proceeds will be used for reduction of company’s liabilities to the Lenders under the CDR Scheme.

Sakthi Sugars is one of the largest producers of sugar in India with a capacity of over 13,500 tonnes of cane crushing per day. It has units / plants in the states of Tamil Nadu and Orissa.
