Gammon Infrastructure emerges lowest bidder for road projects worth Rs 2,000 crore

Gammon Infrastructure Projects has emerged as the lowest bidder for two road projects worth Rs 2,000 crore. Both the projects are on a built-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) basis and each project is worth around Rs 1,000 crore.

The first project based in Madhya Pradesh is a 102 km Sidhi Singhruli road project. This four laning road project is awarded by the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation. The second road project is a 107 km NHAI project connecting Birmitrapur - Barkote in Orissa. Apart from construction time of 2.5 years, both projects have concession period of 23 years.
