Gammon Infrastructure soars on raising Rs 259 crore via QIP

Gammon Infrastructure Projects is currently trading at Rs. 14.86, up by 0.55 points or 3.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 14.31 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 15.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 15.00 and Rs. 14.70 respectively. So far 42137 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 16.43 on 26-May-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 6.33 on 23-Sep-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 15.30 and Rs. 13.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1050.39 crore.

Gammon Infrastructure Projects has raised Rs 259 crore through a qualified institutional placement (QIP). In this regard, the QIP Committee of Directors at its meeting held on September 08, 2014, has approved the issue and allotment of 20,41,74,286 equity shares to eligible qualified institutional buyers at the issue price of Rs. 12.68 per equity share, aggregating to approximately Rs. 258.89 crores.
