First Leasing moves higher on the bourses

First Leasing is currently trading at Rs. 56.95, up by 0.10 points or 0.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 56.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 56.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 57.90 and Rs. 56.50 respectively. So far 1262 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 116.45 on 13-Jun-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 48.25 on 29-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 57.90 and Rs. 51.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 129.91 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 25.99% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.55% and 69.47% respectively.

Credit rating agencies, Credit Analysis Research (CARE) and Brickwork Ratings India have assigned ratings to various debt instruments of First Leasing Company.

The company got A1+ rating from CARE for its Commercial Paper limits of Rs 100 crore and also awarded AA- rating for Un-Secured Subordinated Debt aggregating Rs 75 crore.

Further, Brickwork Ratings has assigned AA rating to Rs 75 crore Un-Secured Subordinated Debt program of the company.

First Leasing Company of India is engaged in the business of leasing, hire purchase, loans and wind power generation. It focuses on providing hire purchase and leasing services mainly to the corporate sector. Its clients include Citibank, Johnson & Johnson and Volvo.
