GAIL (India) is planning to support skill development programmes in Andhra Pradesh. In this regard, the company has earmarked an outlay of Rs 10 crore for skill development initiatives in the State.
Further, the company is planning to set up and provide ongoing support for maintenance of toilets in schools in all villages that the GAIL pipeline of about 900 km passes through. It has earmarked Rs 4 crore for this initiative that is proposed to be taken up as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
GAIL has an enviable track record in Project Management and has won a number of awards over the years, both national and international. The company owns and operates a network of around 11,000 km of natural gas high pressure trunk pipeline with a capacity of approximately 206 MMSCMD of natural gas across the country.
