Bosch spurts on BSE in late morning deals

Bosch is currently trading at Rs. 15190.00, up by 310.50 points or 2.09% from its previous closing of Rs. 14879.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 14942.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 15350.00 and Rs. 14860.00 respectively. So far 3819 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 15297.50 on 08-Sep-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 8190.00 on 16-Sep-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 15100.00 and Rs. 14550.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 47694.93 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.18 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.88 % and 9.94 % respectively.

Bosch’s Bangalore plant workmen have decided to go on strike with effect from September 16, 2014 in order to press for their unreasonable demands. Strike will be considered as illegal. The management is in discussion with the Union to restore normalcy at the earliest with the intervention of the Additional Labour Commissioner, Karnataka.

Bosch is a major player in the diesel segment and 60% of its sales come from diesel segment. It is also among the larger suppliers of common rail direct injection (CRDI) systems in India. The company buys half of the components required for the CRDI systems (by value) locally.
