Yes Bank receives Bombay Chamber Good Corporate Citizen Award 2013-14

Yes Bank, India’s fourth largest private sector Bank, was awarded the Bombay Chamber Good Corporate Citizen Award 2013-14 in the 'Banks and Financial Institutions' Category at the 179th Foundation Day of the Chamber. The Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry instituted the Good Corporate Citizen Award in 1994 to recognize and honor conspicuous achievement by corporate in terms of service to the civic community in addition to outstanding operational performance. It is a prestigious award to publicly acknowledge and recognize the exemplary endeavors taken up by the corporate for significant contributions towards corporate citizenship.

Earlier, Yes Bank was also awarded the Golden Peacock Award for Environment Management in 2014 and ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ in 2013. More recently YES BANK was conferred the ‘Outstanding Sustainable Project Financing’ at Karlsruhe Sustainable Finance Award in Germany and a commendation certificate for significant achievement at CII ITC Sustainability Award 2013.

The bank’s net profit for first quarter ended June 30, 2014 rose by 9.64% at Rs 439.48 crore as compared to Rs 400.84 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. Its total income has increased by 9.34% to Rs 3105.21 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 2839.97 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
