Public-sector bank, Central Bank of India (CBI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sohan Lal Commodity Management (SLCM). Under this MoU, SLCM will provide Collateral Management Services to CBI, which will allow the bank to provide agri financing to farmers, millers and all intermediaries of agri domain.
This partnership will also help the farmers to avail post harvest credits at affordable interest rates, which will further help them with scientific storage facilities and fair price discovery of their produce in the market.
Central Bank of India has been serving more than 3,50,00,000 account holders through its 4,400 branches, 6 extension counters, 29 Satellite offices, 1,970 ATMs and 2,413 ultra small branches (USBs).
