Corporation Bank trades in pink of its health on BSE

Corporation Bank is currently trading at Rs. 314.50, up by 1.50 points or 0.48 % from its previous closing of Rs. 313.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 313.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 316.65 and Rs. 312.50 respectively. So far 1099 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A ' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 417.50 on 09-Jun-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 220.10 on 24-Feb-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 339.00 and Rs. 304.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5281.76 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.33% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.56% and 7.11% respectively.

Corporation Bank, public sector lender, has opened a new branch with e-Lobby at Bejai New Road in Mangalore. The ‘e-Lobby’ has self-service automation kiosks that include cash deposit kiosk, cheque deposit kiosk, self-service passbook printer and an ATM.

Meanwhile, the Bank has recently launched new payroll account scheme which is specially designed for convenience of both employers and employees of corporates. This scheme facilitates easy disbursements of salaries and is loaded with distinctive features and numerous other benefits.

Corporation Bank is a Mangalore-based mid-sized public sector bank which was established in 1906. Government of India is the majority shareholder holding 59.82% stake in the bank. Overall, the Bank has a wide network of over 9,000 centres across India, including 2,061 branches, 2,599 ATMs and 4,349 branchless banking units.
