Lanco Infratech bags first international EPC order from Iraq

Lanco Infratech, one of the largest integrated infrastructure enterprises EPC division, won its first international EPC order in Iraq for AKAZ Power Plant of capacity 2x125 MW in AlAnbar Province. The company has achieved a major milestone with this order.

The contract was signed by Kishore vaid, Sr Vice President, Business Development LITL-EPC division and director general Sabih of ministry of electricity, in Banhdad in the presence of the Sr. Dy. Minister Raad Al Haris. The company has to complete engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of an open cycle gas based thermal power plant with two frame (9E) gas turbine generator sets supplied by General Electricity International. The project is scheduled to be complete in 16 months for which a dedicated project team has already been identified and put in place.
