Mahindra and Mahindra’s (M&M) South Korean subsidiary SsangYong Motor has sold a total of 10,417 units in September 2014 - 5,094 units in domestic sales and 5,323 in exports including CKD kits. In the domestic market, the company’s monthly sales and cumulative sales increased by 14.9% and 10.9% respectively thanks to sales growth of main models including the Korando Sports (export name: Actyon Sports) whose sales were up 61.1% year-on-year.
The company’s monthly exports in September have dropped by 11.3% due to decreased shipments to main overseas markets amid the Ukrainian crisis. However, compared to the previous month, its exports showed signs of recovery with an increase of 15.5% to 5,323 units based on diversification of markets including the Chinese and European markets.

In the domestic market, the company will expand its sales by carrying out a variety of customer events such as ‘Sound of Music Camp’
