Reliance Infra completes four-laning of Trichy-Dindigul road

Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra) has completed four-laning of 90 km from Trichy to Dindigul, in Tamilnadu. The company will begin Toll collection from midnight of January 11 for the build, operate and transfer project, constructed at a cost Rs 600 crore.

The National Highways Authority of India’s contract to RInfra involves a concession period of 30 years. Further, the company will maintain the existing 4-lane road. For reducing stopover time at the toll plaza, an advanced toll management services has been installed to automate tolling which provides CCTVs, speed detectors and other services to monitor traffic flow on the road.

With this, 10 of its projects are operational and expected to generate over Rs 10 billion. RInfra expects a rise 10-12% growth in traffic year-on-year in its road assets.

Reliance Infrastructure has six road projects in the Tamilnadu, such as Nammakal-Karur, Dindigul-Samyanallore, Trichy-Karur, Trichy-Dindigul, Salem-Ulundurpet and Hosur-Krishnagiri.
