Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have reduced their stake in Maruti Suzuki by 30 basis points to 21.74 percent in Q2FY14 from 22.04 percent as on June 30, 2014. However, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have increased shareholding in the company by 48 basis points to 14.48 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 14 percent as on June 30, 2014.
Meanwhile, non institutions were holding 7.57 percent stake at the end of September 2014, down 18 basis points from 7.75 percent as on June 30, 2014. While, corporate bodies were holding 4.90 percent stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, down 54 basis points from 5.44 percent as on June 30, 2014. Further, promoters’ shareholding was unchanged at 56.21 percent at the end of September 2014.
