Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have reduced their stake in Apollo Tyres by 260 basis points to 34.18 percent in Q2FY15 from 36.78 percent as on June 30, 2014. However, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have increased shareholding in the company by 195 basis points to 8.34 percent at the end of September 2014 from 6.39 percent as on June 30, 2014. Meanwhile, Promoters' shareholding in the company was unchanged at 44.06 percent at the end of September 2014.
Apollo Tyres produces the entire range of automotive tyres for ultra and high speed passenger cars, truck and bus, farm, off-the-road, industrial and specialty applications like mining, retreaded tyres and retreading material. These are produced across Apollo’s eight manufacturing locations in India, Netherlands and Southern Africa.
