CRISIL assigns rating to NCDs issue of Sesa Sterlite

Credit rating agency, CRISIL has assigned ‘AA+/stable’ rating to the Rs 1,500 crore non-convertible debentures (NCDs) of Sesa Sterlite. The credit rating agency has also reaffirmed its ratings on the company’s existing NCDs, short-term debt, and bank facilities at ‘AA+/Stable/A1+’.

The ratings continue to reflect the company’s diversified business risk profile; its cost leadership in zinc, and the oil and gas segments; and its healthy financial risk profile.

Sesa Sterlite is one of the world’s largest diversified natural resource companies. Its business primarily involves exploring, extracting and processing minerals and oil & gas.
