Hindustan Zinc surges as FIIs hike stake to 2.15% in Q2FY15

Hindustan Zinc is currently trading at Rs. 170.60, up by 2.25 points or 1.34% from its previous closing of Rs. 168.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 169.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 171.40 and Rs. 168.85 respectively. So far 62204 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 184.00 on 09-Jun-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 114.80 on 26-Feb-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 171.40 and Rs. 161.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 72020.56 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.92% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.18% and 1.89% respectively.

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have raised their shareholding in Hindustan Zinc over the last three months. FIIs' shareholding increased by 3 basis points to 2.15% at the end of September 2014 quarter from 2.12% as on June 30, 2014.

However, Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) shareholding decreased by 2 basis points to 31.04% at the end of September 2014 quarter from 31.06% as on June 30, 2014. Non Institutions were holding 1.89% stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, down 1 basis point from 1.9% as on June 30, 2014.

Besides, corporate bodies were holding 0.7% stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, down 6 basis points from 0.76% as on June 30, 2014 while, Promoters’ shareholding was unchanged at 64.92% at the end of September 2014.
