Uflex surges on disinvesting 16.67% stake in UPET Holdings

Uflex is currently trading at Rs. 154.90, up by 1.75 points or 1.14% from its previous closing of Rs. 153.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 155.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 155.25 and Rs. 153.50 respectively. So far 8517 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B ' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 170.70 on 23-Sep-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 61.15 on 20-Feb-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 155.25 and Rs. 149.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1105.92 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.47% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.29% and 41.67% respectively.

Uflex proposes to divest its 100% shareholding in UPET Holdings, Mauritius to another wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) company, Flex Middle East FZE, Dubai in one or more tranches. The company has divested 16.67% of the total shareholding in UPET Holdings and received the sale consideration against the sale of such shares.

Uflex is engaged in production of Polyester chips, BOPET and BOPP films, Printing and Coating Inks, facilities for Holography, Metalization and PVDC coating, making Gravure Printing Cylinders, Gravure Printing, Lamination and Pouch formation.
