NHPC reports 3% fall in Q2 net profit

NHPC has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2014.

The company has registered 3.32% fall in its net profit at Rs 684.10 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 707.58 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased 19.23% at Rs 2325.01 crore for Q2FY15 as compared Rs 1950.23 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

NHPC is an Indian Hydro Power Generation company that was incorprated with an objective to plan, promote and organize an integrated and efficient development of hydroelectric power in all aspects.
