NHPC has decided to extend financial assistance to the Civil Works Contractor HCC to enable completion of balance works of Teesta Low Dam Hydroelectric Project Stage-IV.
Further, Government of India has accorded its approval for infusion of equity upto Rs 1605 crore in the company’s Joint Venture Company Chenab Valley Power Projects (CVPPPL) for construction of Pakal Dul (1000 MW) and for initial investment in Kiru (660 MW) and Kwar (560 MW) HE Projects.
NHPC is an Indian Hydro Power Generation company that was incorprated with an objective to plan, promote and organize an integrated and efficient development of hydroelectric power in all aspects.
