L&T gains on unit inking partnership pact with Tele2

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is currently trading at Rs. 1662.30, up by 3.80 points or 0.23 % from its previous closing of Rs. 1658.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1661.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1672.00 and Rs. 1660.00 respectively. So far 28403 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1774.70 on 09-Jun-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 912.30 on 13-Nov-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1675.75 and Rs. 1567.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 154833.85 crore.

The Institutions holding in the company stood at 54.52 % while Non-Institutions held 43.24% of the stake.

L&T Technology Services, a unit of engineering conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T), has entered into partnership with Europe-based telecom operator Tele2 to jointly develop solutions around Machine-to Machine and Internet of Things. Though, financial details of the tie-up were not disclosed.

This alliance will help L&T Technology Services’ and Tele2’s customers implement solutions that will reduce their ‘time-to-market’. Through this partnership, clients in transportation, mass transit and similar industries will be targeted initially.
