SKS Microfinance surges as CRISIL assigns fundamental grade of 4/5

SKS Microfinance is currently trading at Rs. 356.95, up by 6.75 points or 1.93% from its previous closing of Rs. 350.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 350.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 363.00 and Rs. 344.50 respectively. So far 443889 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 363.00 on 07-Nov-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 140.75 on 12-Nov-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 363.00 and Rs. 309.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4529.62 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 9.27% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 59.97% and 30.75% respectively.

Credit rating agency, CRISIL Research has assigned a CRISIL IER fundamental grade of 4/5 on SKS Microfinance. The grade indicates that the company’s fundamentals are ‘good’ relative to other listed equity securities in India. The rating agency has also assigned valuation grade of 3/5 to the company.

SKS Microfinance is a non-banking finance company (NBFC), registered and regulated by the Reserve Bank of India, whose mission is to provide financial services to low-income households. SKS operates across 16 states of India.
