Jaiprakash Power Ventures has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2014.
The company has registered 19.02% rise in its net profit at Rs 299.81 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 251.89 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased 23.62% at Rs 1207.32 crore for Q2FY15 as compared Rs 976.59 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
Jaiprakash Power Ventures is part of India’s leading Infrastructure conglomerate - Jaypee Group. Currently the company operates the largest hydroelectric power plant in the private sector in India. Its power projects which are in different stages of implementation include Hydro, Thermal and Transmission.
