Mahindra Satyam, a leading global consulting and IT services provider, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Intertek a leading internation provider of testing, inspection and certification services, to streamline smart grid testing and product engineering technologies. The MoU highlights the company’s plans to jointly improve advisory, inspection and certification services which would enhance Mahindra Satyam’s efforts to deliver end to end engineering solutions to smart grid clients.
The partnership presents a wide range of potential benefits for the clients of Mahindra Satyam as it will deliver added value to customers in their smart grid offerings. The company will begin integrating Intertek’s satellite program in laboratories to conform to current smart grid industry standards and regulations and will serve as Intertek’s partner for testing various industry standards in the smart grid business vertical.
The MoU between Mahindra Satyam and Intertek will streamline the process by which the two companies co-operate for the automotive, aerospace and consumer electronics industries, while also enhancing service offerings for customers.
