Tata Power Company has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2014.
The company has registered 17.02% jump in its net profit after tax at Rs 306.33 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 261.77 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased marginally 0.21% at Rs 2250.64 crore for Q2FY15 as compared Rs 2245.83 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On consolidated basis, the company’s net loss after taxes and minority interest for the quarter under review stood at Rs 77.75 crore against net profit of Rs 74.97 crore in the September quarter of previous fiscal. The company’s total income has decreased by 1.33% at Rs 8359.44 crore for the quarter from Rs 8471.78 crore in the similar quarter of previous year.
