BEML reports net loss of Rs 55.14 crore in Q2FY15

BEML has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2014.

The company has posted a net loss of Rs 55.14 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as compared to a net loss of Rs 38.88 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has decreased by 39.48% at Rs 458.78 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 758.10 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.

BEML (formerly Bharat Earth Movers) was established for undertaking manufacture of Rail Coaches & Spare Parts and Mining Equipment at its Bangalore Complex. It has been catering to the needs of core sectors such as mining, power and steel.
