Apollo Hospitals to open 500 Apollo Sugar Clinics by end of 2019

In a bid to spread network of diabetes care programme, Apollo Hospitals is planning to open 500 Apollo Sugar Clinics by end of 2019 in India and overseas. In this regard, the average investment would be around Rs 50 lakh for a clinic, which will be financed through the funds from Apollo Hospitals Group.

The company currently has its sugar clinics in Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Indore, Karimnagar, Pune, Kakinada, Nashik, Tiruchirappalli, Raipur, Bilaspur, Bhubaneshwar, Mysore, Visakhapatnam and Madurai.

Earlier in September, Apollo Hospitals had joined hands with global pharma firm Sanofi to provide diabetes care programmes through its Apollo Sugar Clinics.

Apollo Hospitals is the leading private sector healthcare provider in Asia and owns and manages a network of speciality hospitals and clinics, a chain of Pharmacy retail outlets across the country, and provides Consultancy Services for commissioning and managing the Speciality Hospitals.
