Indian Hotels Company, better known as the Taj group of hotels, has launched the first Gateway Resort in the country -- the Gateway Resort, Damdama Lake, Gurgaon. This is the first resort under the Gateway brand. The brand operates another 24 hotels across the country. The resort is owned by Pawan Dhoot of Dhoot Developers. It has 78 rooms and two suites. Apart from a spa, the resort has an all-day diner Buzz, Chinese restaurant Sian, and a lounge Swirl.
Moreover, the company will also launch a few more resorts in Pune and Corbett in Uttarakhand, Shimla soon.
The hospitality group has four brands Taj in the luxury space, Vivanta by Taj in the upper upscale, Gateway by Taj in the mid-scale and Ginger in the budget segment.
