Omkar Speciality Chemicals has received FDA Licence for its Unit No. III for manufacture of Selenium Sulphide (USP) which is the key ingredient for production of anti-dandruff shampoo. The production at this unit is already started and this facility was financed out of IPO proceeds as elaborated in RHP of IPO.
The company has also inked MOU with Shree Sai Shakti Enterprises located at F-9, MIDC, Badlapur to acquire their assets. These assets are adjacent to company’s existing Unit No. IV located at F-10, MIDC, Badlapur. By virtue of this acquisition, the company can now take benefit of the total plot area of 9,654 square meters for execution of its major expansion project at Unit No. IV as elaborated in RHP of IPO.
Omkar Speciality Chemicals is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of speciality chemicals viz., selenium compounds, iodine compounds, molybdenum compounds etc. and pharma intermediates viz., Potassium Iodate, Bismuth Ammonium Citrate, Bromoform etc.
