Hero MotoCorp reports 43% surge in Q3 net profit

Hero MotoCorp has announced the results for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.

The company’s net profit for the third quarter ended December, 2011 has increased by 43% at Rs 613 crore against Rs 429 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. Total income has increased 17% to Rs 6,108 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 5,224 crore for the same quarter a year ago.

Hero MotoCorp’s sales for the month of October 2011 increased by 1.32% at 5,12,238 units against 5,05,553 units in the corresponding month last year.
