Balrampur Chini Mills has decided to commence crushing operations for the season 2014-15 of all the sugar mills of the company at the earliest. This decision was taken after the announcement of sugarcane price and certain relief by the U.P. Government.
Earlier, the company’s net loss for the quarter ended September 2014 narrowed to Rs 639. During the quarter, net sales rose 20.11% to Rs 6,826.10 million, compared with Rs 5,683 million for the prior year period.
Balrampur Chini is one of the largest integrated sugar manufacturers in India. Its business portfolio consists of manufacturing and marketing of sugar, ethyl alcohol, ethanol, generation and selling of power and also manufacturing and marketing of organic manure.
