Fire breaks out at Pearl Polymers’ ground storage area

Fire broke out at the ground storage area of Pearl Polymers’ Units located at B-3/2, MIDC Industrial Estate, Mahad, Maharashtra, caught fire on November 22, 2014 around mid-night. The fire got under control after late night with help of fire brigade and fortunately no loss of life or limb happened. However, the actual extent of damage is yet to be ascertained. The unit is expected to be back in production in 6 days time.

Pearl Polymers (PPL) incorporated in 1971, is engaged in manufacturing of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) products. The company has an in-house research and development facility that is equipped with CAD systems, in-house mould development and team of skilful employees. The company started manufacturing its products with one machine that has grown to 40 machines spread across India.
