Torrent Power has reported results for its third quarter ended December 31, 2011.
The company has posted a 6.11% rise in net profit of Rs 211.28 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 199.12 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 20.49% from Rs 1,902.86 crore for Q3FY11 to Rs 1,579.23 crore in the quarter under review.
On the consolidated basis the group has posted a net profit rise of 7.70% to Rs 212.76 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 197.54 crore in the same quarter last year. Total Income of the company improved by 21.23% to Rs 1,915.01 crore for the quarter compared to Rs 1,579.67 crore in the quarter, year ago.
